Two-word daily puzzle

Most dailies hide one word. Dualword hides two. You still type one five-letter guess. That guess is scored twice.

The top half of a tile is word one. The bottom half is word two. Navy is the right letter in the right spot. Gold is in the word, but elsewhere. Gray is not in that word. A letter can be navy on top and gray on the bottom. That is the whole trick.

You have eight tries. After a guess, you read two stories at once. Maybe S is locked for word one and useless for word two. Maybe A is gold on the bottom only. You are building two word shapes from the same letters.

When one word lands, it flies up into a dock chip so the remaining word has room. Finish both, or use the last try, then share the half-circle grid if you want.

This is not a path puzzle. If you want letters already on a board and a route to find, that is Onword. If you want two visible words and one letter to move, that is Affix. Dualword keeps the answers hidden.
