Affix: move one letter, make two new words

How Affix daily rounds work: transfer exactly one letter between two clue-backed words so both sides fit.

Swizzle Works

Affix starts with two words you can already see. Each has a clue. You move exactly one letter from one word into the other. Leftover letters stay in order. Both sides have to become new words that fit the clues.

The stock example is PLATE and CAR. Clues: not on time, and a fish. Move P onto CAR and you get LATE and CARP. That is the whole job. You are not anagramming the pair. You are transferring one letter.

Today's daily is five rounds. Tap a letter, then a landing slot on the other word. Drag works the same way. Hint 1 says which word donates. Hint 2 names the letter. Reveal ends the round unassisted. Practice has twelve extra rounds that do not touch your streak.

Play free at affix.swizzleworks.com. Progress stays on this device. No account. A new puzzle arrives at midnight in America/New York. Native store listings are still coming.

Dualword hides two five-letter answers and scores one guess against both. Onword puts letters on a board and you find a path. Affix shows the words and asks you to move a letter. Same studio, three different jobs. Start from the Affix product page or the word games hub.
